Job Description

Billing Coordinator

Assume full responsibility for billing, payables and FSL for Air and Ocean business. Required to perform a variety of duties as outlined in Operational Procedures in support of the organization's/branch's /divisional

activities. Ensure proper accruals and FSL accuracy.

OBJECTIVES:

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Variety of duties, including but not limited to the following.

* Vendor contact, ensure vendor invoices are processed appropriately.

* Ensures prompt and accurate invoicing.

* Problem identification/ resolution, immediate reporting to manager, divisional manager or branch

* Maintain lines of communication with vendors and shipping agents within the branch.

* Work in accordance with QSHE working instructions and procedures

* Review and maintain FSL to ensure accounting practices are correct and potential deferred is at a minimum

* Additional responsibilities may be given in accordance with supporting a specific department/division

* Acknowledge / Approve Invoices both internal and external

* The Billing Clerk verifies accuracy of billing data

* Ensure billing sheets are up to date

* Inputs computer entries on invoice and credited memoranda to determine prices.



KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS



Skills / Education / Experience:

* Accounting/Finance Knowledge (Associate degree preferred but not required)

* Must be accurate and detail oriented

* Ability to successfully communicate - both verbal and written

* Ability to follow through and provide excellent customer service

* Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks

* Must be organized

* Ability to be profit conscious

Pay rate $16 - $17 per hour

This is a long term temporary assignment until Project with Client is completed (No end date at this time)
