Job Description

A well-established family owned manufacturing company in York, PA has a direct hire day shift opportunity for a Manufacturing Sales Coordinator for a technical Customer Service candidate with prior business to business experience preferably in custom manufacturing /metals.

The Sales Coordinator will primarily support the sales team, focusing on managing client communication and orders. The position is responsible for all aspects of customer management, including capture of initial order, building client specifications, scheduling production and delivery, as well as providing customer service through delivery.

This position will:
* Work closely with the sales team to assess workload and develop sales strategy.
* Be first point of contact for client communication and answer inquiries.
* Build accurate client specifications for customer orders.
* Input timely and accurate data into Syteline ERP system.
* Be responsible for scheduling specific projects into production.
* Communicate and coordinate project production with plant supervisors.
* Answer customer questions regarding order status and product requests.
* Follow up with customers regarding their order status.
* Assist in some lead generation and/or upselling to current client base.
* Verify inventory and pull orders per client request.

Qualifications include:
* Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
* 1+ years of Customer Service experience in business to business commerce
* Prefer in custom manufacturing ( metals industry a plus)
* Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot technical concerns - i.e. parts needed for a manufacturing process
* Excellent phone skills
* Maintain a professional demeanor with both clients and coworkers
* Diplomacy in client interactions between distributors and end users
* Highly organized and task oriented
* Efficient with the ability to follow through
* Advanced computer skills, especially Office Suite
* Ability to prioritize in a busy environment
* Ability to focus and produce accurate work
* Dependable self-starter
