Job Description

Our Winnipeg based client who is a Freight Forwarding, Logistics and Distribution Company in Canada is seeking Long Term Temporary Full Time Warehouse Associate - Dock Sorter (Over Night Shifts) positions in their Distribution center in Winnipeg.

These positions offer a minimum of 32 hours per week and set to commence in November 2017

In order to qualify for this role, it is vital that you:

* Be available on Either Days from Monday through Friday (Possibility)

* Be available 12:00AM - 7:30AM

* Able to Work on an Over Night Shift

Must have qualifications:

* No less than 3 -year of warehouse experience or equivalent.

* Superior interpersonal and customer service skills

* Superior verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to be flexible organized and manages priorities

* Proof of past experience and certifications is an asset

Your responsibility is to provide the following

* Manually move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other unskilled general labor. Includes all unskilled manual laborers not elsewhere classified.

* Inbound sort, other warehouse duties as assigned and able to lift minimum of 50lbs unassisted.

* Must have Good Understanding of English and ability to work unsupervised

* Has clear understanding of computer programs and customer service skills.

* Under tight deadlines, drives vehicle to customer sites, climbs in and out of vehicle, and walks up and down stairs as required to pick up and deliver documents and packages to and from customers according to established procedures, in all weather conditions;

* Maintains good work habits, including reporting to work on time and adhering to standard work and safety procedures;

* Possibility that might extend to Full Time depending on the business needs.

* Maintain a clean and safe work area. Promote safety programs and recommend corrective actions

* Provide continual feedback to Parcel Assistants and Parcel Sorters regarding both positive and negative performance

* Monitor equipment/asset control by checking scanner equipment in and out daily

* Unload, load, lift, push, and stack packages

* Wrap, label, and move skids

* Process packages and create mailing containers

* Sort packages to correct location according to label, load chart or scanner

* Perform other duties as assigned

Nice to Have

* Have access to Vehicle or have means of transportation/ Valid Class 5 Driver's license.
