Job Description

Onsite Coordinator:


*Be visible to all associates and Unilever Line Supervisors.

*Develop rapport and a solid professional working relationship with all Unilever Supervisors and Leadership.


*Safety awareness program TBD.

*PPE compliance.

*Wearing appropriate attire.

*Safety/Steel-toed boots.

*Hairnet/beard net.


*Wearing gloves and disposable vinyl gloves as needed.

*Safety Awareness & Monitoring.

*Practice and implement good GMP practices.

*Familiarize and understand site safety rules and compliance.

*Monitor successful practice of these initiatives through effective utilization of the Safety Observation, Audit, and Risk Assessment Process.

*Recognize good safe work practices to create a positive safety culture.

*Regularly conduct informational sessions to talk about safety incidents, first aids and any other correspondence as needed to educate and create awareness.

*Employee relations.

*Assist with payroll issues and concerns and properly advise on how to address/correct those as needed.

*Coordinate and schedule all new starts when they arrive for their 1st day at the site.

*Explain to new starts where to report daily.

*Locate time clocks for new starts and advise on how to clock in each day.

*Issue time keeping badge and enter it into time keeping system.

*Assist new starts with getting to their work station etc.

*Attendance issues.

*Familiarize and apply Manpower polices

*Investigate any and all personnel issues and complaints.

*Kronos support.

*Support Onsite Supervisor with running kronos sytem reports to enter and verify time as needed.

*Frequently revisit the importance of clocking in/out daily and on time.


*Kronos reports.



*Identify needs.

*Notify office to recruit for backfills I.e. cover for people who are scheduled off, reaching 1,000 hour tenure, call-ins etc.

*Schedule new starts as needed and report those new starts to Supervisors as needed to schedule additional training etc. as needed.

*Work with supervisors to gain feedback on associate performance and resolve issues as needed.

*Effectively communicate via phone, email to send correspondence as it relates to general correspondence regarding site needs etc.

*Effectively communicate and send correspondence as needed.

*Duties as assigned.

***No line relief!

****Management experience is required and Manufacturing experience is preferred.
