Job Description

Position Summary
The Onsite Supervisor is primarily responsible for effectively meeting the temporary help and/or training needs of a major Manpower client. Specifically, the individual in this position: 1) delivers high quality service to the customer and temporary associates by matching the skills of temporaries to customer needs.
2) retains business by providing outstanding customer service.
3) performs a variety of administrative tasks that support the overall mission of quality service and performance.

Principal Accountabilities
Obtain detailed assignment information from the customer and utilize it to provide effective customer service
Fill the customer's work orders with qualified associates
Monitor temporary associate attendance and performance
Troubleshoot to resolve the problems or complaints of the customer and associates
Coach and counsel Manpower associates to ensure quality performance and job satisfaction
Implement company award programs to recognize the good performance of Manpower associates
Identify associates for high demand skill areas
Answer telephone to provide desired information for customers and associates
Maintain customer and associate records to ensure completeness and accuracy
Will respond to injuries that occur at the client site
Will be responsible for routine maintenance of the timeclock system
Will work closely with the Client crew leaders and supervisors to address daily staffing requirements
Maintain a consistent schedule to ensure an ongoing presence within each department
Will conduct periodic associate and client surveys to gather feedback for ongoing process improvement
Will manage the daily/weekly distribution of uniforms to associates to ensure all associates are in compliance with the client's GMP requirements and will ensure proper payroll deductions occur for the associates uniforms

Work Environment
Work is performed on the manufacturing floor. Potential hazards include proximity of moving machinery, chemical exposure, noise or heavy lifting. The position may require an individual to stand, stoop, move equipment, bend, reach or lift. PPE may include safety glasses, hearing protection, hair net, beard guard, arm sleeves and sanitary footwear.

Must enjoy a fast-paced work environment and possess strong communication skills
Strong PC skills with the ability to navigate within the Manpower systems required
Previous management or supervisory experience required
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Ability to analyze and evaluate people, data and things to determine courses of action
Ability to shift back and forth between two or more tasks
Ability to understand and accurately apply basic math skills
Ability to remember information (e.g., policies, procedures) or find it, as needed
Ability to access areas where needed people, information or equipment are located
Ability to arrange things in a certain order (e.g., alphabetical, numeric)
Ability to make competent use of work related equipment and materials
