Job Description

Looking to start a new position in 2018 where you can utilize your forklift license and experience?

Manpower Kitchener is looking to connect with Forklift Operators in the Guelph area for a great day shift opportunity

Do you have experience maintaining an accurate stock control of incoming and outgoing material, handbombing, and operating a forklift, RF Scanner and related equipment? If this sounds like you, read on!

Major Responsibilities:

- Loading/unloading product from trucks/couriers in a secure manner.

- Ensure safe and undamaged receipt of goods as well as accuracy of quantity/size received and to report discrepancies.

- Safe operation of forklift equipment (propane/electric).

- Routine maintenance checks of forklift and other equipment used.

- Physical storage of incoming material/parts in designated warehouse locations in a timely and accurate fashion and maintenance of manual pump location system.

- Issued parts as deemed required by machining and/or assembly work orders and placement to work centre.

- To accurately update records and other departments through accurate paper flow and counting of incoming parts.

- Shipping and Receiving duties - properly tracking, documenting, and processing

- Stores - to accurately record issues of material to work orders and accurately report receipt of machined parts.

-Preparing outgoing orders to customers physically pulling, assembling, identifying and packaging of orders for safe shipment to customer and re-act to emergency demands of customer orders.

- Prepare boxes/crates/skids for proper damage free shipment of orders to customer. Export crating. Keep in mind restrictions of packaging for couriers.

- Maintain proper WHMIS identification of incoming hazardous products as well as identifying any potential hazards on incoming repair pumps.

- Identify shortages of packaging materials and order with supervisors.

-Assist in cycle counting and verification where required.

- Co-ordinate receipt/issue of special materials with Quality Assurance.

- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.


- Steady Day Shift - Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

- $20 - $22 /hour depending on experience

- Weekly Pay + 4% Vacation

- Access to Manpower's library of developmental courses


- Valid Forklift License

- Experience in a warehouse environment

- Own Safety Boots or Shoes
