Job Description

Our Canada and United States based client is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies. For 100 years the company has engineered the success of its customers in a wide range of diversified industrial and aerospace markets.



We are currently looking for Accounting Clerk/Receptionist to join their team of experts; the client is of the world foremost in the semiconductor suppliers in supplying the world with precision-engineered solutions for commercial, mobile, industrial and aerospace markets.



This position are Temporary Full Time Accounting Clerk / Receptionist in their corporate office in Winnipeg. These positions offer a minimum of 40 hours per week and set to commence in immediately with the duration of the Assignment for initially 3 - 6 Months from the day of deployment.



Location: South End of Winnipeg



In order to qualify for this role, it is vital that you:



* Be available from Monday through Friday

* Must be Eligible and legally work in Canada

* Able to work from 8:00AM to 4:30PM



Must have qualifications:



* Extensive competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.

* Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset and 45 WPM typing speed, data entry/keyboarding for majority of day with minimal breaks.

* Requires 3 year's experience in an accounting environment preferably in the Manufacturing sector.

* Superior interpersonal and customer service skills

* Superior verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to be flexible organized and manages priorities

* Proof of past experience and certifications is an asset

* SAP accounting experience is a Plus



Your responsibility is to provide the following



* The Accounting Clerk performs a variety of general accounting support tasks in an accounting department

* Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.

* Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable). Enters data into computer system using defined computer programs (SAP)

* Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.

* Reconciles records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers.

* Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.

* Investigates questionable data.

* Perform other duties as assigned

* Have access to Vehicle or have means of transportation/ Valid Class 5 Driver's license.
