    Manpower is currently seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Mechanic. The ideal candidate would need to have a Certificate or Associates Degree in a Technical Discipline (Welding, Electrical, HVAC, Industrial Maintenance, etc.) experience in any of these areas would get the job done.

    If you have the experience and the aptitude to troubleshoot and repair production and facility support equipment (pumps, chillers, motors, VFDs, PLCs, boilers, air compressors, hydraulic/pneumatic, etc. this would be the position for you.

    Essential Job Duties:

    Lubricate machinery, change parts, or perform other routine machinery maintenance.
    Perform preventative maintenance on production and facility support equipment
    Work with engineering and production personnel to support facility initiatives targeted at improving safety, quality, and delivery. Initiatives will involve activities such as installation of new equipment and systems and improving or modifying existing equipment
    Developing detailed preventative maintenance instructions, identifying needed spare parts and stocking levels
    Retrieve and enter data in the CMMS System
    Assisting with maintaining facility equipment documentation, etc.
    Must be willing to respond to after hour maintenance request (callbacks) and be available to work overtime when required

    COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE:
    * Strong troubleshooting skills, ability to read and effectively utilize blueprints, schematics, diagrams, troubleshooting instructions, etc. to analyze issues and execute repairs
    * Specific knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, motor wiring, PLCs, VFDs and other automated control devices is a must
    * Experienced in the area of pipe fitting and plumbing (welding experience is a plus)
    * Ability to safely and effectively utilize common hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, voltmeter, etc)
    * Ability to work in a team environment
    * Computer Skills - Knowledge of Microsoft's Office Suite
    * 5 to 7 years related experience in an industrial setting is required

    * High School Diploma or GED

    TITLE: CONTROLS TECHNICIAN
    REPORTS TO: Service Branch Manager, Service Manager or Service Project Manager
    SUPERVISES: None

    RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:
    Under general supervision, conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and
    commissioning and general servicing of systems (including detailed troubleshooting of
    systems). Responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, on site, customer
    interface. Mentors mechanical technicians on building automation activities. Properly
    completes required project and service documentation.

    PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
    1. Diagnoses and repairs complex electronic control system malfunction's requiring extensive
    knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems and ability to test and write
    modifications in multiple languages of systems software.
    2. Provides sketches of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and drawings.
    3. Communicates with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Ensures high
    levels of customer satisfaction. Meets regularly with customer to become familiar with
    operating problems. Keeps customer informed on the nature of service provided outstanding
    issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, and or repairs. Promotes the sale of
    add-on work.
    4. Manages assigned work to meet professional execution, of time and customer satisfaction.
    Reports problems or changes to management immediately. Interfaces with branch manager,
    service manager, service project manager or subcontractors on projects to coordinate activities
    as required in an ethical and professional manner.
    5. Adheres to all Johnson Controls and customer safety standards. Provides safety awareness
    on work sites.
    6. May provide training to customers on electronic control systems operations. Delivers manuals
    and documentation to the customer for training needs as required.
    7. Mentors and trains mechanical workforce on building automation systems. Provides support to
    the mechanical staff on non-complex, non-critical equipment.
    8. Compiles job documentation, such as certificate of completion, customer training forms,
    training certificates and punch lists.
    9. Conducts extensive self study (reading, research and practice) to improve and maintain
    technical proficiency in company's product lines. Completes certifications as required by the
    company.

    ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
    Other duties related to the commissioning and servicing of building controls and facilities
    management systems as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS:
    Vocational School four year program or an Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems,
    computer technology, air conditioning or similar field plus three years of industry experience or five
    years experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.

    Generally required knowledge includes HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques. Effective interpersonal
    skills to properly represent Johnson Controls to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical
    and professional manner. Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical
    people. Leadership skills to support the activities of Mechanics working on non-complex, noncritical

    This position is located in Austin Texas. We are looking for candidates willing to relocate to Austin, TX. There is no relocation package available. This ad is being marketing in different cities in the United States to find candidates willing to relocate to Austin, Texas for work.

    Apply theory and principles of mechanical and manufacturing engineering to modify, develop systems, set up tools, test, and adjust manufacturing machinery and equipment. Equipment uses a combination of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and computer technologies. Other responsibilities may include preventative maintenance and defect monitoring using patterned wafers that are run manually on the tools daily. This requires a technician to track what tools needs. Job duties may vary depending on department and area of fabrication.

    The ideal individual would:
    * Possess logical, mechanical, technical, analytic, troubleshooting/problem solving skills
    * Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time or be able to work at a computer almost exclusively for long periods
    * Possess basic Windows, spreadsheet, document (Microsoft) skills and be able to learn new technology quickly ( Must pass computer testing )
    * Able to track and update the status of a long checklist of items
    * Be able to work with multiple individuals - technician and engineer - and communicate effectively regarding status and situations
    * Must be able to wear a clean room smock with surgical mask and gloves (gowned from head to toe)
    * Prior Semiconductor/clean room experience in CVD, Etch, Implant, Cleans, Metals, Photo, CDSEM, Diffusion, Defect Control, Photo-lithography, CMP experience is a plus. Candidates with Mechanic experience or prior military technical experience, experience with nuclear submarines are encouraged to apply.

    As the Front Counter Clerk you will:

    * Provide appropriate electrical information
    * Process cash transactions
    * Process customer orders
    * Help to pull customer orders if needed

    A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a minimum of 1-2 years of inside sales or similar office experience is needed. Candidates must possess effective oral and written communication skills, a high attention to detail, and good organization skills.     This position does require walking or standing as well as the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Shift would be Monday-Friday 6:30am-4:30pm with a 1 hour lunch, making it a 45 hour work week. Pay rate of $12/hour.
