    Under the general supervision of the Golf Pro/Manager or Senior Pro Shop Attendant, will perform a variety of duties regarding the operation of the clubhouse facility. These individuals will have assigned tasks that can include: cashier in the pro shop, cart attendant, and ranger/starter. Work is performed with some independence within established policies, rules, regulations, and guidelines. Work is reviewed through observation, conferences, and for results obtained. Performs other work as required. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES A. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Opens and services facilities for daily operations. Collects appropriate fees for golf course operation. Sells pro shop merchandise. Answers questions and inquiries from the public concerning all aspects of the pro shop operation. Aids in the operation of the automated tee time system through information and assistance. Cleans electric golf carts as needed. Stages electric golf carts for rental. Returns electric golf carts to storage facility for charging. Performs routine inspection of electric golf carts, which included water level in batteries, tire pressure and operational integrity for safety. Fills range ball baskets or ball dispensing machine when necessary. Retrieves range ball baskets from the driving range. Operations golf ball retrieval equipment (small tractor and ball picker) when necessary. Controls the start of play on the golf course. Verifies tee times and payment of appropriate fees. Controls the flow of play on the golf course. GOLF COURSE ATTENDANT (CONTINUED) Enforces rules relating to golf course etiquette, attire, and behavior.
