    Manpower has a great long-term Bilingual Brazilian Portuguese E-Sports Specialist vacancy at our client in North York who publishes and distributes free-to-play PC online games.

    The Job:
    * Research, plan, and develop tournaments and events
    * Communicate in a daily-basis with the Tournament organizers, Professional and Casual teams
    * Follow-up on reports to make sure tournaments/contracts are being correctly executed
    * Develop and pitch ideas for new Tournaments, Campaigns or activities to promote E-sport among our players
    * Compile data from various sources and provide to Producers, Leads and QA in order to resolve issues/concerns or share feedback from players
    * Regularly play game to ensure it is properly working for the user
    * Answer online tickets from the support centre based on assigned section
    * Conduct research on game issues, reviewing the evidence the players submit, looking into event rewards queries
    * Analyze bug reports submitted by players; confirm if there is an issue and report to QA
    * Troubleshoot technical issues with player until successful resolution is in place
    * Review evidence on violation reports; based on findings, take the necessary action with the account
    * Suspend player accounts; inform player of issue and suspension time line
    * Conduct account verification for customers that have a lost account or scammed accounts
    * Monitor social media and the game forum to see if any issues/concerns arise from players
    * Assist QA in testing of games to ensure game is properly functioning
    * Make announcements regarding game issues, events, or maintenance
    * Engage players via forum regarding feedback and offer information on game updates
    * Answer basic questions related to the game via social media, forum or in game
    * Host and participate in game master events, live streaming on Twitch TV and gaming YouTube

    What you bring:
    * Must be fluent in both English and Brazilian Portuguese (verbal and written)
    * High school diploma or equivalent and experience in the gaming industry is required
    * Solid understanding of how Online tournaments are organized and operated
    * 1 to 2 years of previous E-sports experience is an asset
    * Passion for on-line gaming is a strong asset
    * Technically proficient with Microsoft Office
    * Ability to interpret customer needs
    * Basic understanding of computer hardware/software
    * Team oriented with solid interpersonal skills
    * Ability to respond to issues and provide quick, timely resolution
    * Ability to work irregular hours, over Time and occasionally on weekends
