    Are you a financial professional looking to use your accounting expertise to serve your community? Do you have experience in managing federally funded programs and multiple funding resources?
    A non-profit organization in the Washington County area is seeking the right person to manage a small Accounting/HR team in support of a valued community initiative that benefits multiple counties in Maryland. As the Fiscal Manager, you will manage the organization's financial budget, resource distributions and liabilities including fiscal and tax reporting. You will supervise your team in AP, payroll and some general HR duties. The Fiscal Manager is a flexible and willing partner, able to multi-task and dependable in financial management.
    Ideal Candidates will have the following qualifications:
    * Proficient in SAGE accounting software
    * Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
    * Experience creating a fiscal year budget and budget compliance and monitoring
    * Experience in government funding strongly preferred
    * Working knowledge of OMB circulars and CFR
    * Experience in maintaining systematic financial records and fiscal reporting
    * Strong understanding of accounting practices and tax regulation
    * Computer skills in MS Office with exceptional knowledge in Excel
    * Experience in staff supervision

    Your work will require you to:
    * Direct and manage all budgets, AP, payroll, purchasing and accounts
    * Submit timely fiscal and tax reports
    * Use SAGE accounting software to manage all financial transactions
    * Supervise 1-2 other accounting professionals

    This position will:
    * Have a salary range of $50,000 to $55,000 annually
    * Offer a competitive benefits package

    * Have a 35 hour work week, M-F
