    Pharmaceutical manufacturing company currently hiring Packaging and Production operators.
    Pay starts at $16-$17 hourly.
    Applicants must have at least 6 months consistent manufacturing experience.
    Hands-on experience in encapsulation, compression/tabletting, or coating processes is highly desirable.


    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    * Operate, maintain, assemble & disassemble, clean and set-up applicable production equipment, while strictly adhering to safety, cGMP's, SOP's and labor
    hour standards.
    * Proven and solid equipment change-over and set-up expertise is highly desirable.
    * Ensure Master Production Batch Record, equipment / room log books, and other relevant records are current; perform in process checks and batch reconciliation.
    * Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner, while meeting departmental objectives without work related injuries or adverse effect to health.
    * Troubleshoot and make necessary adjustment to meet Production Batch Record specifications.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
    * College diploma or 1 - 2 years of team based high volume pharma manufacturing experience.
    * Good understanding of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), HPFBI / FDA guidelines, SOP's and safety practices.
    * Knowledge of production equipment and understanding of manufacturing processes as it relates to solid and / or liquid dose manufacturing.
    * Strong mechanical aptitude and proven technical competency is highly desirable.

    Under general supervision of the Operations Manager or other supervisory/management-level position within the facility, the Warehouse Team Member I is responsible for performing one or more of the facilities warehouse functions such as picking, packing, checking, shipping, stocking, and receiving.     PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    * Pick items with Radio Frequency (RF) device or pick ticket quickly and accurately.
    * Ensure items picked are correct, verifying unit of measure, size, and quantity.
    * Quality-check (QC) and pack customer orders with care and in an efficient / productive manner.
    * Meet all required shipping deadlines.
    * Receive and check incoming freight and accurately identify any discrepancies.
    * Stock and rotate inventory accurately.
    * Comply with all applicable federal and state laws.
    * Replenish supplies as needed.
    * Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse..

    EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
    High School diploma or equivalent is desired. Normally requires a minimum of one (1) year of equivalent work experience. Previous warehouse/distribution experience is preferred.

    MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
    Adequate mobility to continually walk and stand; pull orders from various shelf heights; and ability to lift up to 35 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally is required. Must be able to read and understand English, have number recognition skills, and good hand/eye coordination. Exhibit a sense of urgency to ensure all deadlines are met. Computer knowledge is desirable.

    Job Function Summary:
    The Material Handler monitors and records incoming and outgoing shipments, and receives and processes incoming shipments (stocking inventory as it is received). The position also prepares shipping materials and processes all outgoing items. Also this position is responsible for the decontamination of all equipment clinically used returned to the Mahwah Depot.

    Job Functions: (Primary "essential" duties and responsibilities)
    * Receive and process incoming shipments. Package outgoing shipments and parcels, completing all required paperwork including Hazardous Materials documentation.
    * Performs surface decontamination of all clinically used equipment returned to the Mahwah Depot.
    * Restock inventory as shipments are received. Perform cycle counts and physical inventories as needed.
    * Maintain a log and SAP system of all incoming and outgoing packages
    * Maintain the loading dock area in a neat and orderly fashion and handle purchasing of all necessary labels, materials and supplies that need reordering.
    * Respond to Sales Representative inquiries regarding transit times, physical condition of items, and shipping configuration.
    * Pick and post parts for all service orders.

    Required Skills and Abilities:
    * Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    * Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    * Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
    * Proficiency in using vendor supplied shipping software such as UPS World Ship, FedEx. Able to complete courier Bill of Ladings.
    * Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
    * Proficiency to work with hand tools for the disassembly of large medical equipment to meet shipping configurations and needs.
