Attention to detail Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED typically required Ability to pass Background and Drug Screening Inoculation is the process of unloading and loading carts of eggs from delivery trucks, transporting them to the warm rooms, and from the warm rooms to the inoculation area. The process starts when deliveries of eggs arrive from various hatcheries to the receiving dock, and the eggs are moved on large carts from the receiving dock into the warm room. The eggs are then moved out of the warm rooms, and loaded into the Inoculator (in the back room), and inoculated with the flu virus (in the front room). Each tray is inoculated and inspected, then loaded onto a cart, which is then transferred to the incubator for approximately 65 hours. * Able to push carts on wheels that may weigh up to 800 pounds * Moving trays of eggs from cart to conveyor belt and onto egg carts. * Straightening and inspection of eggs and any equipment including Inoculators. * Must be able to perform all physical requirements, including reaching, twisting bending, squatting, repetitive motion, and lifting up to 25-30 pounds * Must be able to be on feet for entire 8-10 hour shift * Able and willing to work in a sterile environment, wearing scrubs, hair and beard covers, gloves and sleeves. * Able to follow directions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) * Clean equipment before, during and after production * Basic computer skills * 2 people required to move carts In Harvest, egg carts are removed from the cold box after its minimum of 10 hours or before its maximum of 30 hours. The eggs are then loaded onto the conveyor, and go through the harvesting machine. The machine cuts the eggs, go into a bonnet where the trays are flipped and the fluid is collected. The egg shells are discarded in the dumper. The trays and carts are then cleaned and washed. Throughout this process, there is a stringent inspection process. Harvest requires a very stringent cleaning process for the machines, carts, and trays following production. Production is done mostly on 1st and 2nd shift with 3rd shift doing most of the cleanup. There are several different work stations within harvest that are rotated. Job rotation takes place every hour or half hour when production is running smoothly depending on building. Work stations include: * Pulling carts from cold box * Loading trays on conveyor * Working the candling booth * Filling trays open spots with eggs * Inspecting the process * Loading empty trays off conveyor onto cart * Cart wash Requirements: * Able to safely move carts on wheels which may weigh up to 800 pounds * Must be able to perform all physical requirements, including reaching, twisting bending, squatting, repetitive motion, and lifting up to 25-30 pounds * Inspection of eggs and any equipment including harvest machine Service as a department is responsible for the cleaning and preparation of all equipment and safety materials used in other departments.     * Pest Identification, Inspection of vegetation for signs of infestation
    * Room cleaning and equipment cleaning
    * Completing and preparing necessary reports as required
    * Problem solving
    * Assist in other duties as required

    WORKING ENVIRONMENT
    * Can be warm and humid, similar to a greenhouse environment
    * Able to work flexible hours and rotating weekends (Fri/Sat or Sun/Mon off)
    * Lifting up to 50 lbs. on regular basis
    * Standing & walking for long periods of time, Frequent bending, kneeling and reaching
    * Ability to perform a series of repetitive operations requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity

    YOU OFFER
    * Post-Secondary completion from a Horticulture/Agriculture program
    * Able to pass the Ontario Pest Control Technician exam (Applicator Technician License an asset)
    * Previous experience in a greenhouse or growing plants considered an asset
    * Must be able to provide clear criminal record check
    * Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced and meet deadlines
    * Ability to establish priorities, work independently and as a team member
    * MS Office technology, an asset

    This PERMANENT position puts you in on the ground floor in one of the fastest growing industries in North America.

    What you'll be doing:
    * Receiving, labeling and putting away materials and supplies to various out-buildings
    * Recording inventory (determine catalog numbers, sizes, colours, and quantities of product)
    * Reading working orders, and preparing orders to submit to purchasing
    * Moving filled orders to a staging or shipping area
    * Stocking shelves in organized manner, complete production sheets or work tickets
    * Stay in compliance with governing regulations related to medical cannabis
    * Various warehouse tasks as required
    * Shifts (11:30am to 8:00pm Mon - Fri) or (7:30am to 4:00pm Sun - Thurs) or (7:30am to 4:00pm Mon - Fri)

    Qualifications you offer:
    * High School Diploma or GED
    * Able to successfully pass a Criminal Records Check
    * 1+ years' experience general warehouse, construction, shipping or material handling work
    * General knowledge of shipping paperwork

    An Ideal candidate:
    * Has reliable transportation to and from work (Public transportation not available)
    * Enjoys working outdoors (90% of day) for all seasons and temperatures
    * Likes to work with others (a great crew of 6) in a team setting to get the job done
    * Prefers/enjoys/capable of physical work (load, unload, sort, move products using basic material handling equipment.
    * Great attitude, motivated, likes to have fun, while getting the job done
