General Responsibilities: Edits purchase requests and prepares purchase orders. Consults catalogs and other references to obtain prices and specifications. Maintains files and records of materials, prices, inventories and deliveries. Performs related clerical duties. May contact vendors and suppliers for quotations, and follow up on outstanding purchase orders. Applies standard formulas to calculate extensions and discount applications. Operates a personal computer and appropriate software packages or its equivalent. Experience/Educational Requirements: May require vocational training. 1-3 years of experience.

    As the Supply Chain Manager you will provide overall strategic and operational direction in Purchasing and Supply Chain activities. The Supply Chain Manager is also responsible for the development and execution of strategic goals and objectives, supply base and commodity management, outsourcing, and all tactical day to day Purchasing activities.

    The Supply Chain Manager will:
    * Establish and align departmental goals and objectives with those of the extended organization.
    * Develop Purchasing and Supply Chain strategies that support company strategy and objectives.
    * Support all business units and functional areas as well as ensuring adherence to policies and practices while supporting Operational Performance initiatives.
    * Develop Purchasing and Supply Chain metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    * Manage, lead and supervise the Purchasing and Supply Chain staff integrating quoting, sourcing, procurement, follow-up, expediting and logistics activities with the needs of our customers and internal stake holders.
    * Ensure processes, procedures and departmental work instructions are documented, communicated and include effective operational controls.
    * Develop, maintain and manage a supply base and commodity strategies that optimize our competitiveness and are flexible to meet the ever-changing needs of the business.
    * Create and implement action plans for continuous improvement in the areas of; cost reduction, quality, on-time delivery performance, environmental compliance, business processes, productivity and efficiencies. Measure and report progress.
    * Identify and implement selective outsourcing on non-core commodities and services taking into consideration; Group, global, and lead country solutions.

    The ideal candidate will have:
    * Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in Supply Chain Management.
    * Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field.
    * MBA and CPM/CPSM certification preferred.
    * Demonstrated knowledge and experience in all tactical and strategic aspects of Purchasing & Supply Chain management in a lean manufacturing environment including strategic sourcing, commodity management, supply base/relationship management, cost reduction and continuous process improvement.
    * Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Sapphire
    * Proficiency in MS Office Suite
    * An ability to lead team members with a focused mission.
    * Strong organizational skills including ability to plan and schedule effectively.

    This position offers:
    * Starting Salary of $90-100,000 annually
