    Assistant Service Manager

    We are looking for people that are good with their hands, mechanically minded, highly versatile, motivated, willing to learn and possibly have aircraft propeller maintenance training. The suitable candidate will have the confidence and technical and inter-personal skills to effectively communicate with management and coworkers, or be trained to do as such. Is a plus if you have previous experience overseeing others.

    The assistant manager at times will be the face of our 60+ year old business, meeting and greeting our customers in person, picking up and delivering propellers regularly. We are looking to groom the right person into a long term position with an industry leader in the aviation industry.

    Key Responsibilities
    Assistant Service Manager. Follows instructions from Service Manager on quoting, reporting, creating working orders, filing documents and monitoring the repair processes to assure quality control during the MRO.

    Assists Sales staff with customer follow up by adding customer interaction data into Sales Force and calling customers.

    Calls local FBO's in the area to support drivers and notify of a nearby visitation to check if Overhaul or disposable parts are available for the drivers to pick up. Back up drivers if needed and pick up/deliver Propeller or parts. Interact with customers and inquire on potential MRO needs.

    Once trained, performs FAA and in-process inspections, final inspections, and functional checks of aircraft propeller major repairs and alterations ensuring conformity with the following approved data, as applicable; FAA approved Propeller Inspection Programs, STC drawings, instructions, specifications and other pertinent data, orders, instructions, specifications and other pertinent data- Manufacture Manuals, Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, and other acceptable methods, techniques, and practices.

    Coordinates with FAA for major repair and/or alteration engineering data ensuring that all aspects of the repair and/or alteration have FAA approved data. Participates in FAA Conformity Inspections for Propeller Overhaul.

    Ensures the appropriate special tools and test equipment are used as specified in the applicable technical instructions and that the special tools and test equipment requiring calibration are calibrated to company standards.

    Performs quality audits of the facility assigned ensuring compliance with all company policy and procedures.
    Performs as the facility designated Safety Officer.
    Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by the Service Manager.

    Qualifications: Aircraft Propeller and Mechanical knowledge. Great communication skills, excellent customer phone etiquette. Excellent typing skills. Capable of using Sales Force.

    Relevant du Coordonnateur, Documentation technique, le titulaire sera responsable des activités liées à la gestion des dessins techniques et du traitement des demandes de changements au Programme de maintenance.

    Ses responsabilités seront:
    * Indexation des dessins techniques, impression et plastification.
    * Traitement des demandes de changement au Programme de maintenance : correction de texte, mise en page, préparation de photos/Illustrations.
    * S'assurer que l'inventaire de tous les documents techniques est à jour et actuel.
    * Rédaction de processus documentaire.
    * Achat de normes.
    * Agir à titre de personne-ressource pour la recherche documentaire.
    * Donner de la formation sur le Programme de maintenance.
    * Conception et mise à jour des gabarits selon les besoins.

    Vous devez:
    * Diplôme en gestion de la documentation ou expérience pertinente
    * Bilinguisme (maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, à l'oral et à l'écrit)
    * 3-5 ans d'expérience.
    * Très bonne connaissance de la suite Microsoft.
    * Très bonnes aptitudes pour la communication, la présentation et la rédaction.
    * Connaissance de SharePoint est un atout.
    * Connaissance de Maximo est un atout.
    * Bon esprit d'équipe.
    * Minutie, soucis du détail.
