Job Description

The Business Analyst will play a key role in bridging the gap between corporate processes and technology, ensuring the accuracy of information derived from our financial and corporate systems, and identifying process improvement opportunities within organization. Success in this role will require effective communication skills, innovative thinking, and a passion for delivering results.


* Lead initial discovery and project scoping, documentation of business process requirements, integration requirements and provide direct feedback and input for project planning

* Assist in Project Planning and Project Management related activities

* Work as a Process improvement agent and help in identify opportunities to remove redundancy and suggest best ways to do things efficiently and in an improved manner

* Provide subject matter expertise (SME) for specific functional business area (financial and corporate systems)

* Anticipate problems, identify root causes, and be proactive about preventing issues from occurring.

* Prepare detailed process requirements documentation resulting from discovery

* Analyse full impact and identify risks associated with potential solutions to systems issues, and advise process owners of the best approach

* Participate in software upgrades, design, implementation, functional testing, and data validation to ensure quality solutions

* Follow Project Management Methodology (PMP Framework) to run the project and document it.

* Ensure IT General Controls for Change Management or other regulatory compliance (when applicable)


* BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Systems

* MBA Preferred

* 3+ years' experience within Finance or MIS in CPG industry

* ERP skills required. SAP Preferred.

* Knowledge of finance and accounting concepts and financial reporting.

* Must be self-directed and effective working independently and in a team environment.

* Demonstrate an analytical, methodical, and creative approach to resolving issues

* Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments, and adapt quickly to evolving business needs, while continually meeting deadlines.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to consult with stakeholders and subject matter experts to acquire appropriate business requirements

* Ability to establish meaningful business relationships both internal and external business partners

* Proficient with project management tools and/or other software packages i.e. MS Office Suite, Visio etc.

* Ability to manage deadlines and planning tasks across multiple resources and work streams. PMP certification is a plus.

* Practical experience of working within Agile project management teams
