Job Description:

* Oversee and coordinate a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements.

* Oversee and coordinate our environmental health, hazardous waste, and safety program and ensure compliance regulations are met.

* Plan facility services including but not limited to, security, cleaning, waste disposal, HVAC maintenance install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.

* Conduct and document regular facilities inspections.

* Respond to facility and equipment alarms and system failures; assure the security of the facility Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

* Schedule and supervise maintenance for a variety of office and facilities equipment.

* Assist in planning and supervise all facility refurbishment and equipment installations.

* Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities utilizing mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines, diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments with use of a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.

* Use equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

* Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.

* Coordinate calibration schedules of test equipment.

* Coordinate ESD control efforts and Audits.

* Place service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met and equipment remains in good operating condition.

* Provide regular reports of facility-related budgets, contracts, expenditures and purchases.

* Provide prompt response to requests and issues from facility occupants.

* Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas and conduct safety training as needed for employees.

Education and Experience:

* Associates or Bachelor's degree (Preferred) in Facilities Management, Facilities Engineering and/or 5-8 years facility experience related qualification such as project management, waste management or construction management.

* Supervisory experience preferred.

* Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

* Working knowledge of principles and practices of project management.

* Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

* Working knowledge of procurement and contracts.

* Experience in construction, maintenance and all facets of facility operation.

* Solid computer and systems knowledge.


* Strong communication skills; verbal and written.

* Strong planning and organizational skills.

* Strong negotiation skills, problem analysis.

* Decision-making, adaptability.

* Teamwork.

Pay$ 25-28 depending in experience
