Job Description

Our Tier 2 supplier in the Bradford area is looking for a Quality Systems & Engineering Coordinator with the potential of this role going to Management As a Quality Systems and Engineering Coordinator, you'll will work in a team environment, and oversee the ISO9001:2015 a/o IATF/TS16949 Quality System. You'll have the opportunity to liaise between internal and external customers and ensure systems are in compliance to the standards.



Core Functions:

* Manage all elements of the ISO9001:2015 or TS16949/IATF Systems (policy creation and maintenance, program roll out, training and communications)

* A Certified ISO9001:2015 or TS16949/IATF Auditor, you'll report performance indicators and concerns to Management

* Coordinates the training of internal auditors, ensures ISO9001:2015 TS16949/IATF audits are scheduled, executed and closed with all related corrective actions.

* Reports on the status of internal audits to management as required, lead and conduct internal audits to ensure system compliance

* Manage Document System Controls for ISO9001:2015 and TS16949/IATF systems following up with others for completion of assigned projects accurately and on time

* Monitor all identified non-compliances in the QMS and evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.

* Manages and leads corrective action events pertaining to internal and external issues including verification, implementation and closure

* Coordinates external audits as per schedule, participates in plant wide continuous improvement projects.

* Responsible for drawing control and design changes

* Works with personnel on the Advanced Product Quality Planning as required to support product launches.

* Assists with Customers and Suppliers quality management (issuing HTR's, IPP's and portals)

* Assists with Internal Quality and Reporting (measuring, documenting, analyzing, communicating, and costs)

* Assists with Quality Equipment calibrations & New model start-up and activities.

* Promote and advocate quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization.

* Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

* Operates in accordance with Policy of "Stop-Call-Wait", ensure high standards for quality and efficiency

* Fills in for the other department staff when needed

* Serve as back up to the Quality Manager when necessary



Core Requirements:

* Post-secondary education in Quality a/o Quality Engineering related program, strongly (preferred), equivalent experience will be considered

* 3-5 years' managing ISO9001:2015 a/o IATF16949 Quality System

* ISO9001:2015 a/o TS16949/IATF Auditor from an accredited training organization is required

* ISO9001:2015 a/o TS16949/IATF Lead Auditor training from an accredited training organization is preferred

* 3-5 years' experience in an automotive manufacturing setting and ability to meet deadlines with multiple demands

* 5P or 8D problem-solving experience

* Possess risk-based thinking and process approach knowledge

* Good organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to details

* Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of plant personnel with ease

* Core Tools experience (PFMEA, Control Plan, APQP, Internal auditing)
