Job Description

We are looking for a RMA Repair Technician in the city of Rancho. Will be responsible for RMA's and to perform the duties of a repair technician as well as other job related activities within our Operations Department. This role will report to our RMA Supervisor and work with our RMA and Operations Teams. High attention to detail as well as excellent communication skills both written and verbal is essential for effective communication and success in this position.



RESPONSIBILITIES

* Perform testing, repairing and refurbishing all products.



* Return process of all evaluation/demo units



* Simulate, trouble-shoot customer's issue, repair or replace the device back to customers in a timely manner.



* Record and maintain RMA parts inventory accurately



* Collect and provide feedback on product quality issues/new ideas to Product Management for product quality improvement



* Manage and coordinate shipping and receiving of return products with HQ



* Coordinate and collaborate return processes with Tech Support, Shipping and Financial departments



* Perform data analysis and generate daily and monthly RMA reports



* Evaluates quality of product to determine if product is good to restock or return to vendor



* Clean, check, polish and repack returned product as new



Experience:

* 3 to 5 years minimum experience as maintenance technician in electronics

* QA and product return experience preferred



Education:



* GED/High School diploma is required.



* Other Skills and Abilities:



* Ability to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds



* Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays



* Ability to work in a fast paced environment



* Operating in a collaborative environment



* Forklift Certified preferred



Language Skills:

Ability to read, write simple correspondence, and communicate with internal customers and vendors in a clear, easily understood manner in English.



Mathematical Skills:

Ability to perform basic level mathematics such as counting, adding, subtracting, etc.



Reasoning Ability:

Ability to carryout simple written and oral instructions.
