Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm



Energy Advisor Job Description/Requirements:

The position is for an energy conservation program that provides rebates on energy efficient goods and services for residential homes & small businesses. The general nature and level of work for this position includes but is not limited to:



Duties and Responsibilities:

* Data entry and quality control review of residential customer rebate applications.

* Use knowledge of program requirements to determine applicant qualifications and provide customer support via phone.

* Maintain productive relationships with internal and external clients, including specific trade ally partners.

* Assist with weekly reporting for the client and internal staff.

* Assist with weekly invoicing to client.

* Identify opportunities for enhancements to current process.



Basic Qualifications:

* Minimum 3 years customer service experience.

* 4 year degree or at least 4 years professional work experience.

* 2 years' experience with MS Office, including Word, Power Point, and Outlook with emphasis on EXCEL.



Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous program/project administration experience is a plus.

* Intermediate working knowledge of Excel is a plus.

* Accurate typing skills with great attention to detail with a minimum of 40 wpm.

* Excellent organizational and communication skills

* Proven track record of successful project delivery.

* Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a self-directed capacity.

* Prior financial background and familiarity with statistical analysis, would be a plus



Type of Work:

* Must be able to work at a desk and on a computer for extended periods of time.

* Must be able to communicate well over the phone with customers.

* Must be willing to cross train across multiple job processes and be willing to work on multiple programs.

* Must have attention to detail with transferring and manipulating data.

* Be successful working in a team environment.

In addition to the required assessments, this position requires proficiency in the following areas:



1. Customer Service - professional over the phone with the ability to defuse frustrated customer. Ability to understand the services we can provide and offer them as options to our callers. Keeping phone time minimal while still being able achieve customer satisfaction with each call.



2. Operations - take on tasks efficiently with a sense of urgency. We are also needing sharp individuals who can understand and focus on what they're processing. They need to learn and understand our programs enough to be able to prioritize and time manage their day accordingly while still being flexible enough to adjust for any sudden meetings



3. Growth and communication - ability to learn from mistakes and take any measures necessary (note-taking, reminders, etc.) to prevent repetition of error. Being able to communicate any questions, concerns, or updates timely to supervisor without hesitation.



4. Teamwork - being able to work well with others and actively participate group projects and meetings. Candidate needs to be able to understand the plan being executed along with knowledge of the current process as there will be inquiries from management regarding the status of project.



5. Computer Literate - being able to use a computer, internet, and basic programs comfortably.
