Job Description

General Overview: Responsible for receiving, distributing, and maintaining material used in production for the manufacturing of sporting goods.

2nd Shift: 3:30pm to 2am M-Th w/ OT on Friday

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Load and unload delivery trucks
• Move material and equipment between locations
• Maintain required levels of material at production use points
• Store material in a neat and organized manner
• Assist manufacturing maintenance and R&D when needed

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Education Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical background
• Valid driver’s license
• Good judgment
• Forklift experience
• Organizational skills
• Ability to problem solve
• Ability to operate pallet jack
• Ability to operate snow plow
• Ability to operate motor vehicle
• Ability to operate shovel
• Ability to operate forklift

Working Conditions: Production work experience

Safety Hazards: Exposure to dust, air borne fibers, fumes, dirt, noise, vibrations, chemicals, and solvents. 30% of the work is performed outside. 10% of the work is performed in extreme temperatures ranging from hot and humid to snow and freezing. Walking and driving equipment between buildings and throughout buildings year-round is required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands requiring finger dexterity, and handling or working with equipment. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 80 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision. Employee will be required to hear telephone.
