Job Description

Our client, an equipment company, is looking for an experienced service administrator to work in their London, Ontario location. If you are a seasoned service administrator, with a background in working at an automotive dealership or as a front counter clerk at a parts shop, then we'd love to connect with you!

* Full-time day shift hours (Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm

What's the job?

* Maintain accurate and on-time reports and records relative to the service department's operations.

* Process Warranty and Product Improvement Claims, assure that all charges related to work orders are posted properly and all work orders are closed on a timely basis for effective WIP management.

* Must conduct themselves in the presence of customers in a manner that promotes a positive image of the company

* Open work orders with all pertinent information, including work to be performed, the customer, equipment, and equipment hours;

* Assist in the scheduling of work in the shop and field;

* Monitor status of work in progress throughout the duration of the job;

* Close work orders and invoice promptly upon completion of service job, ensuring that all parts, labor, service supply and outside vendor invoices have been billed on the work order;

* Handle all warranty claims;

* Provide other administrative support to other staff as requested from time to time;

* As part of the Product Support Team, provide observations and recommendations that assist in making the service department operate more efficiently and profitably;

* Answer all service related telephone calls.

* Although much of time will be situated in an office/shop environment, occasional travel to other branches may be required.

What do you bring to the job?

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

* High degree of proficiency with computer applications;

* Have strong organization skills and demonstrated ability to handle numerous issues concurrently in a fast paced environment;

- Knowledge of Heavy Equipment preferred but not required.

- Experience in dealing with warranties

- Experience in a parts department
