Our client in Cambridge is seeking qualified candidates to work in the manufacturing plant as Assembly workers.

What's the job?

* Assembly and wiring carried out under minimal supervision.

* Plan and carry out assembly and/or wiring procedures working from wiring diagrams, schematics, drawings, pick lists and bills of material, CSP and DWI procedures.

* Troubleshoot unusual assembly and/or wiring problems and occasionally make design change recommendations.

* Ability to wire both control and large power wire and determine best wire routing.

* Will be able to provide the ability to complete any and all mechanical assemblies.

* Troubleshoot, repair or modify units and occasionally make design change recommendations. Must demonstrate the ability to lift heavy components.

* Conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations (federal, provincial, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.) as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures.

* Training will be on days or afternoons. Home shift will be weekends (Fri-Sun 2:30AM-3PM) starting April 8th, 2019.

What you bring to the job?

* Previous experience in the above mentioned tasks

* Familiar with policies and procedures relating to standards of business conduct.

* May be required to assist or instruct other employees. Observe safe working practice. Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.

* Physical Requirements: * Heavy - lifting 62 lb (28kg) maximum, frequent lifting of up to 50 lb (22.7kg). Grade 12 or equivalent.

* Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (sponsorship is not provided)
