Job Description

A growing manufacturing company in northern Lancaster County has a direct hire career opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to Engineering (Configuration Management). This position performs administrative and clerical tasks to support the configuration management function: data entry and data maintenance pertaining to configuration in the ERP system, including configuration identification for specific programs.

* Maintain product baseline configuration and process configuration changes.

* Establish and maintain bill of materials (BOMs) to support production objectives.

* Control and maintain software for test documentation and various software media.

* Perform data entry of technical data (drawings, associated lists, etc.) and bills of materials (BOMs) for corporate quoting efforts.

* Create and maintain corporate production BOMs from bid bill of material through product lifecycle.

* Prepare, schedule, and chair Configuration Control Board (CCB) activities documenting all actions and updating configuration data.

* Maintain the configuration of all internal and external technical data.

* Prepare contractual Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs, and perform Configuration Status Accounting (CSA).

General Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Prior admin experience in a manufacturing facility preferred.

* Basic knowledge of technical drawing interpretation.

* Strong understanding of Bill of Materials, makes, buys and multi-level structures.

* DOD experience a plus but not necessarily required.

* Strong organizational and skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities that can change quickly.

* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel / Word, ERP systems, and databases.
