Our client is one of the largest companies in the world in motion control technologies, including aerospace, climate control, electromechanical, filtration, fluid and gas handling, hydraulics, pneumatic, process control, and sealing and shielding.

Manpower is currently seeking Hose Assemblers (Overnights) for Temporary Full-Time work with their location in the King Edward Area

In order to qualify for this role, it is vital that you:

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.

* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preference will be given working in a manufacturing sector preferred.

* Excellent physical fitness with the ability to lift up to a maximum of 75 pounds.

* Availability to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.

* Outstanding organizational and communication skills.

* Keen Attention to Detail , Ability to Lift Heavy Objects, Ability to Stay on Feet for Long Periods of Time

* Positive Attitude, Self-Motivated, Health Safety Conscious, Good Communication Skills

* Ability to Work in a Fast Paced, Busy Environment

* Ability to Work Well on a Team but Be Self-Motivated and Independent at Times

* Able to pass a Background check

* Able to Start Immediately

Essential Functions

* Responsible for manufacturing and inspecting of hose assemblies which include operation of hose assembly equipment and use of measuring tools.

* Successful candidates requires pulling hoses from hose reel or from the turn table, measuring and cutting to length, marking, inserting end, crimping, capping, tagging, and marking finished product. Flushing may be by air using air gun or soap/solvent flush which requires placing hoses into flush unit.

* Responsible for setup & change over requires moving hose reels back to rack area (lifting and rolling) and switch sizes for the next order.

* Responsible for changing blades using appropriate tools, wrapping hoses, final assembly of twin lines (springs, boots)
