Manpower is hiring Lead Maintenance Technician with our client in the Ennis, Tx area



POSITION SUMMARY



Works as an industrial mechanic to troubleshoot, maintain, adjust and repair high speed production equipment used in producing and packaging commercial audio products in addition to general building maintenance. Applies advanced knowledge of mechanics, welding, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and cooling, hydraulics/pneumatics, electrical circuits and programmable logic controllers in accordance with manufacturer specifications and supervisory instructions using hand, shop and power tools as necessary.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsible for ensuring facility compliance with OSHA, Fire, and City Codes.



Schedule or perform preventative maintenance on equipment and infrastructure, as deemed necessary by industry standards or recommended by the Manufacturer, or as assigned by the Maintenance Manager. Proactively identify potential maintenance related issues and opportunities, and implement cost effective solutions.



Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.



Work with externally contracted vendors to ensure they are meeting specifications and deadlines set.



Will perform electrical wiring including conduit bending, wire pulling, wire termination and basic troubleshooting.



Maintain monthly inspection and maintenance of building and HVAC roof motors and fans and replace as needed.



Duties also may involve pipe fitting; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; HVAC; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs.



Train new partners.



Supervises/assigns daily tasks to Maintenance Technicians via communication with Maintenance Supervisor.



Estimates costs of repairs and orders supplies and parts as needed.



Keeps records of maintenance, repairs, purchases and costs.

EDUCATION

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)



EXPERIENCE

At least five years' of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment



At least five years' in a lead/supervisory/journeyman role

Computer Skills

* Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
