    Job Responsibilities:
    * Assist and providing an enriching and engaging environment for students.
    * Supervise children in all aspects of an after-school program.
    * Assist in executing daily lesson plans and activities.
    * Distribute all information and materials to families.
    * Maintain necessary reports, forms, logs, and paperwork.

    * High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
    * Attention to detail.

    * Strong communication skills to effectively handle interactions with staff, families, and children.
    * Must be physically able to move classroom furniture as needed, and physically remove a child, aged 5-12, from an emergency situation.

    In this key role, you will be responsible for construction planning and implementation of new construction projects for qualified Frederick County residents.     Your duties include:
    * Manage the construction process for ground-up and renovation projects
    * Track and monitor progress, adjusting timelines and work tasks as needed
    * Obtain building permits and maintain construction records
    * Communicate progress, needs, and concerns to the Executive team
    * Supervise a team of motivated workers, subcontractors, volunteers, and prospective homeowners
    * Work with architects and engineers on design and house plans
    * Facilitate subcontractor bidding and awards
    * Budget and estimate build projects
    * Create and enforce a safety program
    * Lead construction team in monthly meetings
    * Interact with client families, partner agencies and business associates
    * Perform final walk thru, punchout and closing processes

    The ideal candidate will have:
    * 3+ years' experience in field supervision of residential construction projects
    * Knowledge and understanding of construction principles and practices as they relate to residential construction and remodeling
    * Ability to read and understand construction drawings and site plans
    * Experience with subcontractor bid proposals and awards
    * Ability to perform in a construction setting - lifting, climbing, bending, working at heights, etc.
    * Proficiency in using construction tools, power tools, ladders, small equipment, & instructing others to use them safely
    * Ability to work early morning, evening, and Saturday hours with some frequency
    * Ability to deal effectively with contractors, fellow employees, government representatives, nonprofit constituents, and the public/customers
    * Strong organizational skills including ability to schedule effectively and maintain accurate data
    * Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail
    * Computer skills: MS Office, Proficiency with MS Project software a plus
