Job Description

Customer Service Representative - permanent job opportunity available with a global leader in the manufacturing and production of specialized products used in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and other consumer product markets. Offering competitive compensation package including benefits and pension plan. DAY Shift hours.

Location: Aurora, Ontario

About the Position

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative processes orders, prepares correspondence, and fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer incoming calls from business customers, providing accurate, detailed information regarding products, billing procedures, and payment options in a timely, efficient manner.

* Resolve service inquiries/requests and customer complaints in a manner that is mutually satisfactory

* Complete all necessary post call processing and paperwork, documenting all activity in the system immediately

* Respond to email inquiries and returned mail, as required

* Maintain Vendor managed JIT programs and specialized reports as needed

* Monitor production specifications, order and release reports daily.

* Maintain the order entry and changes/issues with the order.

* Prepare for and attend daily scheduling meetings and other meetings as needed

* Maintain customer performance reports and update daily and weekly call statistics.

* Data entry of quality complaints from external customers

* Maintain strong cross functional relationships within the company to maximize the customer's experience.


* Minimum of five (5) years of business to business customer service experience in the manufacturing sector

* Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred

* Intermediate to Expert level experience with Microsoft Excel (including writing formulas and pivot tables)

* Intermediate to Expert level experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access)

* Experience with ERP and CRM systems desired

* Must be very detail oriented, with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills

* Very strong organization, multi-tasking, time management and documentation skills
