Program Coordinator - Career Leap Employment Services Program

Manpower is looking for a Program Coordinator to join our Fort McMurray Career Leap Employment Services Program in a permanent role.



In this role you will be responsible for providing overall coordination of program activities, administration, reporting and client support to the program participants.



In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

* Conduct program pre-qualification telephone pre-screens, determine prospect eligibility for the program and conduct intake interviews

* Conduct Service Needs Determination (SND) and Employability Assessments with eligible clients

* Conduct program orientation for new clients

* Work with the Job Placement Consultant to match clients to Employer Partners for job opportunities

* Work with program clients in dealing with their concerns and barriers to employment

* Provide coaching and mentoring to clients; resume writing, interviewing skills etc.

* Track current clients in the program and prepare billing information

* Prepare monthly invoicing with a breakdown of deliverables

* Track and provide reports on client activity

* Deliver workshops as backup support to the Workshop Facilitator

* Conduct marketing and promotional activities for the program in the community



As our next Program Coordinator you bring:

* Relevant post-secondary education

* Minimum 2 years Career Development or related experience

* Passion and commitment to assisting individuals with their career development opportunities and reaching their career goals

* Strong customer service and client relationship management experience

* Experience coaching and mentoring individuals with barriers would be an asset

* Advanced MS Office skills; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

* Strong administrative skills; data entry, document and file management

* Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Cultural sensitivity; ability to work with and relate to diverse individuals

* Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information in a tactful and professional manner
